This requirement represents a unique challenge for the environmental laboratory. The number of samples is small, but when coupled with the number of parameters, a lot of testing results. Due to the amount of reagents, the capital cost for burets and reagent pumps makes this difficult to automate with traditional titration systems. However, Man-Tech recognised this and developed the TitraValve system that will deliver multiple titrants/reagents with a single buret drive. By the addition of this module, the capital cost is decreased significantly and all parameters are measured by a single system, thereby minimizing the cost of analysis and maximizing the time available for other tasks.
